Brother Robert has been a member of Marsh Road Baptist Church Since 2001 and Music Director since 2006. Bro. Robert is currently serving as the Adult Sunday School Class Teacher and has been tremendously blessed to be able to assist Pastor Shepard by sharing God’s Word from the Pulpit when the Pastor is away and on 5th Sunday Services.

Billy Shepard
Pastor Billy Shepard was born again and baptized at age eleven. He moved from Arkansas to the Washington, DC area in November 1954. He answered God’s call to ministry in August, 1957 and was ordained February 17, 1960. He has led in the establishment two churches: Arlington Missionary Baptist Church, Arlington, VA in 1960 (now known as First BC of Kingstowne) where he served as pastor for six and a half years, and Bethel Baptist Church, Woodbridge, VA in 1967…

Jean is married to Billy D. Shepard, Retired Pastor of Marsh Road Baptist Church, Woodbridge, VA, where she is Director of Faith Ministries, Bible Teacher for Senior High Girls, Women’s Bible Study Leader and co-leader of the Senior’s Ministry with her husband. She is also the author of “Worthy To Be Loved”, a Bible teaching program on Biblical Self-Esteem which she has taught in the US and Australia.
