What to Expect

We’re Glad You’re Here!

We’re thankful that you’ve chosen to Worship with us here at Marsh Road Baptist Church! Here are some things folks want to know to make that first visit easier.

Services – Chose a service: Sunday School from 10:00-10:45AM, Worship from 11:00AM-12:00PM, and Prayer and Bible Study Wednesday’s from 7:00-8:00PM

Attire – Everyone is welcome to come just as they are. We encourage you to come the way that you feel most comfortable.

Parking – We have ample onsite parking, with Handicap spots available adjacent to the elevator

Inside – Come on in! One of our ushers will be glad to help you find your way around. Look for one of these friendly faces when you arrive.

If you have young children our ushers can help direct you the nursery. If you have questions, they can help you get to know us better.

We offer a traditional style of worship. Great hymns of the faith and a Jesus Christ centered, whole Bible believing focus in preaching and teaching

Our Prayer is that you have, or will find, hope and faith in Jesus Christ as you gather to worship with us

Billy Shepard

Pastor Billy Shepard was born again and baptized at age eleven. He moved from Arkansas to the Washington, DC area in November 1954. He answered God’s call to ministry in August, 1957 and was ordained February 17, 1960. Jean is married to Billy D. Shepard, Retired Pastor of Marsh Road Baptist Church, Woodbridge, VA, where she is Director of Faith Ministries, Bible Teacher for Senior High Girls, Women’s Bible Study Leader and co-leader of the Senior’s Ministry with her husband.
